A MODERN, ALTERNATIVE WEDDING DJ
Not everybody wants the same predictable wedding disco.
You’ve probably been to weddings where the DJ played the exact same set of songs you hear at every party… the usual singalongs, cheesy songs with dance routines, and a playlist that feels like it came straight out of a “Wedding DJ Starter Pack”.
For some people, that’s perfect.
But if you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re looking for something different.
I love working with couples who love music. Years spent going to gigs, festivals, clubs and great bars, and they want their wedding to feel like a proper party with their favourite people.
That’s exactly what I do.
NOT YOUR TYPICAL WEDDING DJ
Traditional wedding discos tend to follow a familiar formula: The same songs. The same singalongs. The same safe playlist that appears at wedding after wedding.
​I approach every playlist differently. For me, the music is built around:
• your favourite tracks
• the atmosphere in the room
• the energy on the dancefloor
The result is a night that feels fun, energetic and personal to you, rather than scripted.
YOUR MUSIC, YOUR WAY
Some people lean towards indie and alternative.
Others want pop and R&B throwbacks.
Maybe disco, house or classic dancefloor fillers.
I'll be honest, most of the time people tell me they want "a mix of everything".
The most important thing to me is that the soundtrack reflects you, your personalities, and what makes you tick as a couple.
Before the big day we talk through:
• the music you love
• the songs you absolutely want to hear
• any artists, tracks or genres you’d rather avoid
• the kind of atmosphere you want for the night
We shape the selections together in the run-up, so on the day you can relax knowing that I'll deliver what you want, in a way that works for you and your guests.
A PROPER PARTY, NOT JUST A WEDDING DISCO
Before committing to weddings full-time, my background was in bars and clubs, which means the focus has always been on great music and packed dancefloors.
Weddings are obviously a bit different from a late-night club set, but the principle is the same: reading the room, choosing the right song at the right moment, and building the energy so the dancefloor stays busy all night.
The aim isn’t just to play songs people recognise.
It’s to create a night where the music feels right, the atmosphere builds, and your guests actually want to stay on the dancefloor!
